Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and safe transfers, using proper techniques to protect residents and yourself
Measure and accurately record vital signs and resident observations
Support daily living activities to promote dignity and independence
Communicate changes in condition and concerns promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Document resident care clearly and timely to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current CPR certification preferred
Able to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control and proper hand hygiene
Safe resident transfer and lifting techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Clear communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
