Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support a positive patient experience through friendly communication
Participate in orientation and follow facility policies and infection-control practices
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (California certification preferred)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Reliable, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs and assisting with ADLs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
Familiarity with documentation best practices; experience with electronic charting is a plus
Infection prevention and control awareness
