Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and assigned days to be determined by the facility (schedule to be confirmed at offer)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation and personal hygiene needs
Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active/valid CNA license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain before start)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental resident care skills (bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility assistance)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety standards
Clear verbal and written communication with residents and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Comfortable using electronic or paper charting systems as required
