Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting respectfully and safely
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Connecticut certification preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and facility policies
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Ability to take and interpret vital signs and observe patient changes
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Comfortable with documentation and basic computer/charting systems
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide person-centered care
