Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients, helping with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nurses and healthcare team members
Assist with mobility and safe patient transfers, using proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs accurately and timely
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control practices
Document care thoroughly in the patient record and communicate effectively with the team
Support patient comfort and emotional well-being through respectful, empathetic interactions

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — must be able to practice in Georgia
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility
Comfortable with 12.5-hour shift cadence; reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Good communication skills and a patient-first attitude; prior long-term care or acute care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control procedures and proper PPE use
Basic charting and documentation practices
Team collaboration and clear communication with nursing staff
