Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support nursing staff by monitoring patients and reporting changes promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient status and interventions
- Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
- Help create a clean, comfortable environment that promotes healing and dignity
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Georgia (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable with 12.5-hour shift patterns and hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient hygiene and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Team collaboration and effective communication with clinical staff
