Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff promptly
Assist with mobility, transfers, grooming, bathing, and feeding while maintaining dignity
Document resident care accurately and timely to support excellent continuity of care
Collaborate with the care team to create a safe, comfortable environment for residents
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe workspace

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or state equivalent) — PA certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident assistance techniques
Familiarity with documentation practices and charting basics
Comfortable with safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and time-management skills
Basic infection control and safety awareness
