Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and respect
Provide attentive bedside care and help ensure patient comfort and safety
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document patient care accurately and timely in the charts or EHR
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to deliver coordinated care
Participate in orientation and training to continuously improve your skills

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (appropriate for practice in California)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Able to pass background check, drug screen, and health clearance (TB, immunizations)
Comfortable performing physical aspects of the role (lifting, transfers) with safe practices
Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
Familiarity with patient mobility and safe transfer procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills (EHR experience a plus)
Teamwork, time management, and strong observational skills
