Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment and set up/operate automatic injectors as needed
• Provide patient care including transfers, assessment of patient status, and age-appropriate adjustments to protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with departmental record maintenance
• Participate in and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance programs and daily/weekly QC
• Assist with invasive procedures in CT/Interventional settings and prepare procedural setups
• Transmit studies via teleradiology systems and follow sterile technique when required
• Rotate through assigned shifts, cover on-call duties, and assist other imaging modalities as requested

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Clinical competency must be achieved within 3 months of hire and revalidated every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Willingness to rotate through modalities (XR, CT, MRI, Mammography) and take call
• Competency or willingness to develop competency in ancillary modalities and venipuncture
• Comfort working with patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatric adults

• Current ARRT (Radiography)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT and diagnostic medical radiography
• Contrast administration and automatic injector operation
• Teleradiology transmission and telemedicine workflows
• Sterile technique and assisting with invasive procedures
• Radiation protection principles and quality assurance practices
• Patient transfer, assessment, and age-specific protocol adjustments
• Record maintenance and departmental supply/inventory support
