Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and support cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Prepare and operate Philips and Siemens imaging systems and ensure equipment is ready for cases
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to the clinical team promptly and effectively
• Maintain sterile field and procedural protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and MacLab so patient records are complete and reliable
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and techs to deliver coordinated, compassionate care
• Educate and mentor junior staff and students to help grow a stronger cath lab team

Qualifications

• RCIS required (panning x-ray table experience noted)
• ARRT required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of interventional/cath lab experience
• EP and neuro experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable working day shifts, occasional Saturdays, and participating in on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures (LHC, PCI, PVI, PPM, EPS)
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Familiarity with EMRs including Meditech and MacLab
• Ability to assist in IR and neuro cases
• Excellent team communication, clinical judgment, and patient monitoring skills
• Willingness to teach and support less experienced staff
