Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans and X-rays with accuracy and patient-focused care
• Operate and troubleshoot the GE Optima 660 CT scanner to deliver high-quality images
• Use EPIC for charting, imaging orders, and effective interdisciplinary communication
• Work independently in the ED environment while coordinating with nursing and providers
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain imaging equipment standards
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during emergent and routine imaging
• Document procedures thoroughly and support smooth patient throughput in a busy 10-bed ED

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT XRAY certifications (required)
• Valid Utah state radiology license (UT License)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant CT/X-ray experience (explicitly listed)
• Comfortable working solo and able to self-start in a fast-paced ED setting
• Experience with EPIC strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT and X-ray imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record workflows
• Experience with GE Optima 660 or similar CT equipment
• Strong radiation safety knowledge and image quality optimization
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly in the ED
