Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for emergency and inpatient cases using GE CT equipment, ensuring excellent image quality and patient safety
• Operate portable AMX Navigate X-ray equipment as needed to support bedside imaging
• Provide compassionate patient care, including proper positioning, monitoring, and communication throughout procedures
• Prepare patients and contrast protocols, assist with IV starts when required or requested
• Accurately document procedures and patient data in Meditech Expanse to maintain clear clinical records
• Collaborate with the FSER team and other clinical staff to triage studies and prioritize patient care
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety checks, and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
• Contribute positively to unit culture by being a self-starter, team-oriented, and adaptable to the FSER environment

Qualifications

• RT(R) certification required (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital/FSER CT experience; recently cross-trained candidates are not eligible
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as listed in the posting
• Comfortable working independently as the typical staffing model is 1 tech per shift
• IV start skills are preferred and will be considered a plus
• Familiarity with GE CT systems, AMX Navigate portable X-ray, and Meditech Expanse is highly desirable

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques and protocols (GE CT experience preferred)
• General X-ray operation and portable X-ray workflows
• Experience with AMX Navigate portable equipment
• Clinical documentation and EMR usage in Meditech Expanse
• Patient positioning, monitoring, and safety best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FSER environment and prioritize urgent studies
