Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Perform patient screening, positioning and preparation with compassion and safety
• Follow MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe imaging environment
• Document procedures and findings accurately in Meditech and Centricity PACs
• Collaborate with radiology team and clinicians to support timely patient throughput
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage to ensure department continuity

Qualifications

• Active MRI license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience as listed in the posting
• Proven ability with standard MRI skills and patient-centered imaging
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T equipment preferred
• Experience using Meditech and Centricity PACs for documentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening procedures
• Skill operating Signa Artist 1.5T MRI systems
• Competence with Meditech and Centricity PACs documentation systems
• Excellent patient positioning, image acquisition and quality control skills
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced radiology unit
• Ability to manage rotating call responsibilities professionally
