Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to assigned patients, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding promptly to changes
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy with competence and compassion
Interpret telemetry strips and recognize arrhythmias early to escalate care as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
Complete required documentation accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Participate in required competency testing and specialty exams to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license verified via Nursys
Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience
Basic Arrhythmia Certification required
Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
DCI/BVP competency as noted in credential list
Demonstrated IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Willingness to complete employer-required screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB testing, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, drug screen, fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and rapid clinical assessment
IV therapy and phlebotomy techniques
Basic and advanced life support (BLS, ACLS, PALS)
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment
