Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments with professionalism and care
• Conduct thorough medical interviews to document the Veteran’s history and concerns
• Complete focused physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Prepare clear, timely exam reports, addendums, and medical opinions as required
• Maintain non-treatment boundaries — these exams do not include prescribing or treatment
• Complete required training and participate in the credentialing/onboarding process to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Background in General Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or demonstrated experience with Compensation & Pension exams
• Experience performing non-treatment medical exams, medical interviews, and focused physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength)
• Ability to work PRN/per diem and commit to coverage within a 50-mile radius of the listed city or provide services from your own office within that radius
• Willingness to complete VES-required training and onboarding prior to starting

• Separation Health Assessments and non-treatment exam workflows
