Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers while practicing safe body mechanics
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Support feeding and hydration needs and document intake as directed
• Maintain clean, safe resident environments and adhere to infection control standards
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care activities clearly and timely in facility records

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfortable working a part-time schedule including every-other-weekend shifts
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State-certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and resident safety practices
• Skill in assisting with activities of daily living and mobility support
• Familiarity with documentation practices and basic charting
• Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition
• Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and supervisor instructions
