Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support mobility and safety efforts, including safe transfers and fall prevention
• Document resident care clearly and promptly in the facility’s charting system
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Valid LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (must be active)
• Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift and cover both weekends when needed
• Own reliable transportation required
• Own housing required for this assignment
• Comfortable working in an acute/long-term care setting and working as part of a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; active LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care and bedside manner
• Proficient with vital signs, ADLs, and basic clinical observations
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude for travel assignments
