Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide direct telemetry patient care and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in clinical condition to physicians
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and document patient progress
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and care plans
• Coordinate and guide the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Telemetry/Cardiac Monitoring experience (required)
• Ventilator management experience (preferred)
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
• Completion of facility onboarding requirements (e.g., Prime Core Competencies, Skills & Specialty Exams)
• Nursys verification and standard health screenings (TB, immunizations, drug screen, fit test, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring best practices
• Rhythm interpretation and basic dysrhythmia recognition
• Nursing assessment, clinical decision-making and care planning
• Patient and family education techniques
• Ability to communicate clinical changes effectively with physicians and care teams
• Familiarity with ventilator management (preferred)
