Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab and support complex cardiac procedures with professionalism and attention to patient safety
• Provide moderate sedation monitoring and support throughout procedures
• Collaborate with the cath team during LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP and other advanced interventions
• Operate and support imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens systems) and ensure accurate documentation in Merge
• Anticipate needs during cases, prepare supplies and equipment, and help maintain efficient room turnover
• Follow unit policies and contribute to a positive patient experience in a busy 5-lab cath environment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience as a Cath Lab circulating technologist and competency with moderate sedation (must have)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (per job posting)
• Comfort with advanced cardiac procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral and endovascular cases)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for high-acuity settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with Merge documentation systems
• Experience with Philips and Siemens cath lab imaging equipment
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment setup
• Ability to assist during advanced interventions like TAVR, TEER, EP and ECMO
• Ability to work call shifts and adapt to variable schedules
• Patient monitoring and moderate sedation best practices
