Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy and cath lab imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic and procedural images
• Assist interventional cardiologists and radiologists during catheterization and interventional procedures
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff by following established protocols and checks
• Prepare patients for procedures including monitoring vitals and explaining imaging steps in a calm, reassuring manner
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and imaging records
• Perform equipment checks, sterile setup, and post-procedure processing to support efficient workflow
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Valid Fluoroscopy license (required)
• AART registration (or equivalent credential) preferred/required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience working in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology settings
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Must meet health requirements: drug screening, immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, Influenza), TB testing/PPD and related clearances, fit testing
• Willingness to work per diem day shifts and adapt to variable schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with fluoroscopy equipment and image acquisition techniques
• Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy relevant to interventional procedures
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control in procedural suites
• Competence in patient monitoring and basic life support during procedures
• Familiarity with documentation standards and imaging record management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced procedural environments
