Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiographic exams to capture high-quality cardiac images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring accurate, reproducible studies
• Prepare patients and explain procedures with professionalism and compassion
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records and exam logs
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely imaging support nights and weekends
• Collaborate with cardiology and clinical teams to support patient care decisions

Qualifications

• ARDMS (or equivalent) registration required
• DCI/BVP certification listed as required
• BLS certification required
• License/certificate verification required prior to start
• Must complete required health screenings (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB testing, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap) and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Echocardiography techniques and cardiac sonography principles
• Proficient with ultrasound equipment and image acquisition
• Familiarity with regulatory and credentialing requirements (ARDMS, DCI/BVP, BLS)
• Ability to work independently on day shift and respond effectively during on-call rotations
• Comfortable following facility checklists and competency exams
