Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans for patients across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to ensure high-quality, standardized care
• Maintain compliance with licensing, credentialing, and health screening requirements
• Educate patients and families on functional strategies, adaptive equipment, and home safety to support independence

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (license/certificate verification required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience using EPIC for clinical documentation preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
• Successful completion of required health screenings (drug screen, fit test, respirator evaluation, immunizations, PPD/IGRA, physical/health statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and intervention techniques
• Proficiency with EPIC clinical documentation workflows
• Familiarity with infection control practices and respirator/fit test procedures
• Comfort with standardized competency testing and skills validation processes
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
