Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures per physician orders
• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate interventions
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately and professionally
• Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment while ensuring infection control
• Serve as Lead RCP when assigned, coordinating the section or department during your shift
• Collaborate with the medical director and cardiopulmonary leadership to optimize patient outcomes
• Deliver age-specific care with attention to the unique needs of each patient population

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Care license - License/Certificate Verification required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DCI/BVP certifications
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
• Successful completion of required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, TB testing, Varicella, Tdap, influenza)
• Clear drug screen and fit test
• Strong clinical documentation skills and pulmonary diagnostics experience
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts on a per diem basis

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Pulmonary diagnostics and respiratory therapy interventions
• Care planning, implementation, and thorough clinical documentation
• Operation and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment
• Lead and charge responsibilities, including team coordination
• Age-specific care from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Infection control, safety protocols, and compliance with clinical policies
