Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, managing complex and unstable cases
• Perform and assist with procedures such as central line and arterial line management and intubation
• Monitor and manage ventilators and standard ICU equipment to ensure optimal patient support
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes in patient status to the team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute individualized care plans
• Maintain accountability for patient safety, infection control, and unit policies during night shifts

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (required)
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience (must have ICU experience to be considered)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Comfortable caring for oncology and neuro critical care patients and performing/assisting with procedures like central line/A-line care and intubation
• Able to work rotating nights and meet weekend coverage expectations

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Knowledge of ICU equipment and ventilator management
• Familiarity with central line, arterial line and EVD patient care
• Proficient documentation in Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and accountability during high-acuity situations
