Roles & Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction to restore and enhance patients' physical and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on recovery, wellness, and preventative care.
Deliver hands-on therapy and use physical therapy equipment safely and effectively to maximize patient outcomes.
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
Collaborate with the care team and Department Director to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain functional gains.
Monitor utilization statistics and patient outcomes to recommend improvements and optimize care delivery.
Adapt to changing patient needs in a sometimes-chaotic environment while maintaining professional composure

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Montana (required)
BLS certification (required)
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required)
Prior physical therapy experience within the scope of practice (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective interdisciplinary collaboration
Physical dexterity and the ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy principles, practices, standards, and techniques
Skill in physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning
Ability to use and maintain physical therapy equipment safely
Proficiency in patient documentation and report writing
Ability to identify problems and recommend practical resolutions
Comfort managing shifting patient needs and a fast-paced clinic environment
