Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all pharmacy operations for assigned sites, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient services
• Lead financial and operational planning efforts — develop and monitor budgets, productivity targets, and performance standards
• Collaborate with the director of pharmacy to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and QA programs
• Partner with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to foster strong working relationships that support patient care
• Drive improvements in pharmacy information management systems, inventory control, and charging processes
• Represent pharmacy on key committees (Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, Patient Medication Safety, Nursing/Pharmacy) to influence system-wide decisions
• Manage human resources duties for pharmacy staff: hiring, development, evaluations, compensation recommendations, corrective actions, and team morale
• Ensure pharmacy areas meet regulatory, productivity, budgetary, partner engagement, and patient outcome targets
• Step into the role of pharmacy manager when needed and take on additional duties as assigned to support the system

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration, or equivalent experience
• Active Pharmacist license in Wisconsin (WI) required
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in pharmacy operations
• Demonstrated experience with policy/procedure development, quality assurance, and budget oversight
• Strong experience with pharmacy information management systems, inventory control, and patient medication safety
• Proven ability to lead teams, participate on clinical and operational committees, and work collaboratively across disciplines

Education

• PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration preferred or equivalent experience
