Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Cost Accounting system to produce accurate service line profitability analyses and monthly P&Ls.
• Oversee the Decision Support system and publish physician practice P&Ls and practice scorecards that drive strategic decisions.
• Lead STRATA-based feasibility and forecasting work — develop ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analyses for capital projects.
• Coordinate routine reviews with leadership to address unfavorable variances and develop performance improvement plans.
• Prepare and compile data and reports for external stakeholders and audits, including S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA, FEMA and Single Audits.
• Train and mentor managers, the supervisor of decision support, and analysts to interpret productivity systems and request/ad hoc reporting.
• Provide oversight for related software implementations (ERP, leasing software) and assist with STRATA forecasting module maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost accounting, budgeting and/or decision support.
• Hands-on experience with STRATA financial software or a comparable platform.
• Healthcare experience required; familiarity with hospital contracting, reimbursement and bundled payments preferred.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration and healthcare/financial certifications.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills with experience presenting to leadership and external agencies.
