Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly and create individualized treatment plans that aim to restore strength, range of motion, coordination, and functional mobility
- Deliver therapeutic procedures and modalities with professionalism and a focus on measurable outcomes
- Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and physician orders
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains and prevent re-injury
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients under physician orders
- Practice in accordance with the California State Practice Act
- Comfortable providing therapeutic procedures and modalities in an outpatient/clinic setting
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
