Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to pulmonary clinic patients following established standards and best practices
• Assist providers during examinations, diagnostic and treatment procedures to ensure smooth patient visits
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document responses
• Deliver patient education on conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to improve outcomes
• Apply ICD-10 and CPT coding basics in documentation to support accurate medical records
• Act calmly and effectively during emergency situations and participate in clinic emergency response
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and involve families and caregivers when appropriate
• Maintain office procedures, follow safety protocols, and ensure a clean, patient-focused environment

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license (required)
• Meets American Heart Association standards for Healthcare Provider BLS (maintain current certification every two years)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (see Education)
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to administer a variety of medications and utilize equipment for examinations and treatments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow physician instructions and clinic protocols
• Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and patient handling (occasional lifting up to 50 lbs)

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
