Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered perioperative care as the OR circulator during procedures
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring sterility and readiness
• Coordinate supplies, instruments, and team communication to support efficient cases
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs across multiple service lines including Urology, Vascular and Orthopedics
• Document perioperative events accurately and hand off care clearly at shift changes
• Adapt to variable start/stop times and help keep the day’s surgical flow on track

Qualifications

• Peri-Op 101 Certification (required)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• Proven ability to independently circulate in Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain management, Spine, Eyes and Plastics
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in the OR

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in sterile technique and perioperative infection control
• Skilled in patient positioning, instrumentation support, and OR ergonomics
• Proficient documentation and perioperative charting
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Collaborative communication with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff
