Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy with compassion and clear goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document progress, maintain timely notes, and communicate outcomes with families and staff
• Provide family education and train caregivers to support carryover of therapy goals
• Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to a positive, learning-focused environment

Qualifications

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred or in progress
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Active clinical experience in pediatric or adult SLP settings preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills; team player attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Master's or equivalent degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in assessment tools and evidence-based SLP interventions
• Knowledge of dysphagia and safe swallowing management
• Skilled in individualized treatment planning and progress measurement
• Comfortable collaborating with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians
• Good clinical reasoning, organization, and patient-family communication
