Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment services including individual, group and family psychotherapy
- Deliver emergency services, information and referral, and consumer support services with professionalism and compassion
- Conduct community education and consultation to improve access and outcomes for clients
- Collaborate with the Director of Outreach Services and Clinical Manager to ensure coordinated care
- Offer case consultation and clinical guidance to staff working with special populations
- Use sound clinical judgment to manage caseloads with minimal supervision and maintain required documentation
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP
- At least 2 years’ experience treating consumers in the assigned program area
- Knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and community issues affecting mental health services
- Ability to qualify under WAC 246-341-0515 for specialties (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services) if applicable
Education
- Master’s degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field (accredited college/university)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical treatment and direct client services
- Individual, group and family psychotherapy techniques
- Consumer support services and case consultation
- Community mental health practices and community education
- Experience working with special populations including children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, and hearing impaired individuals
- Crisis and emergency service response and information/referral
