Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiography studies using established protocols to provide accurate diagnostic images
• Conduct vascular ultrasound exams and vascular testing with attention to patient comfort and clinical detail
• Independently operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain imaging quality
• Document study findings and communicate pertinent results to the care team in a timely manner
• Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and professional standards while working solo
• Collaborate with physicians and staff when consultation is needed and support efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified ECHO/Vascular technologist (certification required)
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification is mandatory
• Ability to work independently and manage a solo workload confidently
• Current credentials and any state-required licensure for sonography/vascular services
• Strong patient care skills and professional communication

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in echocardiography techniques and protocols
• Skilled in vascular ultrasound and peripheral vascular testing
• Solid understanding of ultrasound physics and image optimization
• Ability to position patients appropriately and obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Familiarity with documentation standards and clinical reporting
• Good troubleshooting skills for equipment and workflow issues
