Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and design personalized treatment plans that boost independence and quality of life
Deliver therapeutic interventions across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and promptly in the EMR
Manage a diverse caseload independently, prioritizing patient-centered care and safety
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
Apply clinical judgment to modify treatments as needed and mentor patients toward meaningful goals

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
Proficiency with EMR documentation and general computer skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
Commitment to continuous professional learning and best practices

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and treatment planning
Therapeutic interventions and clinical judgment
Caseload management and EMR documentation
Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, and skilled nursing environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical pay scale with progression up to 30 years of experience
