Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT exams accurately and compassionately to support patient care
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain steps clearly, and ensure patient comfort and safety
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following manufacturer and department protocols
Ensure high-quality imaging by positioning patients correctly and selecting appropriate imaging parameters
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs, collaborating with the care team as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology (required)
Illinois Radiologic Technologist license (required)
CRP Certification (required)
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation
Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and ability to follow one- or two-step instructions
Basic math skills relevant to imaging protocols and measurements

Education

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology

Radiologic Technology principles
Patient care and positioning
Radiation safety and infection control
Basic computer literacy and electronic documentation
Clear communication and interpersonal skills
Sound clinical judgment and basic math skills
