Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy care through accurate order entry and verification
• Perform medication checking and dispensing to ensure safe, effective use of medications
• Rotate into ambulatory roles as assigned, including anticoagulation clinic and oncology services
• Support patient populations across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Collaborate positively with providers, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other care team members
• Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy laws and facility policies to maintain compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license OR eligible for reciprocation in Pennsylvania within 90 days of hire
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Pharmacy residency experience preferred for ambulatory rotations
• Advanced practice certifications preferred for specialized clinic roles
• BLS certification required for certain ambulatory assignments; renew every two years
• Retail pharmacy experience will not be considered

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (required)
