Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of radiologic procedures with skill and attention to detail, especially special procedures in the cath lab.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment and assist with procedural setup and teardown to support efficient workflows.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to deliver timely, high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control policies while documenting procedures and patient interactions accurately.

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
Experience in cath lab or special radiologic procedures preferred
One (1) year of experience in an acute care facility preferred
Able to meet the physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 40–50 lbs with assistance, dexterity for procedures)

Education

Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
Current BLS certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in a variety of radiologic procedures, especially cath lab and special procedures
Strong patient care and communication skills during invasive and diagnostic procedures
Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique
Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
