Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and prepare a variety of CT procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality.
• Provide compassionate patient care and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT equipment while following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with physicians and the medical team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with patient handling and positioning, observing physical demand requirements when lifting or moving patients.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required).
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required).
• Current BLS certification (required).
• One (1) year of CT experience preferred.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff and patients.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting/ carrying up to 50 pounds and prolonged periods of standing or sitting.

Education

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of CT procedures and patient positioning.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology to support accurate imaging and communication with clinicians.
• Strong patient care skills and attention to safety.
• Manual dexterity, good vision and hearing, and ability to perform prolonged gripping when necessary.
• Familiarity with infection control practices and exposure to communicable disease precautions.
