Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform a variety of CT procedures with accuracy and care
- Provide compassionate patient care and monitoring before, during, and after scans
- Ensure infection control and safe handling of communicable disease protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff to communicate findings and patient status clearly
- Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and document procedures accurately
- Assist in lifting and positioning patients safely, following required physical protocols
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- One (1) year CT experience preferred
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to interact with Medical Staff and patients
Education
- Radiologic Technologist certification/licensure (Hawaii State license required)
- ARRT CT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in CT imaging and procedures
- Strong patient care focus and hands-on clinical skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support imaging and communication
- Awareness of infection control and communicable disease precautions
- Manual dexterity and ability to perform physical tasks (lifting/positioning up to 50 lbs as required)
