Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate ambulatory pediatric nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform vaccine administration following clinic protocols and ensure accurate documentation
• Conduct phlebotomy and blood draws safely and efficiently for pediatric patients
• Perform CLIA-waived testing and maintain quality control and documentation
• Triage patients, assess clinical concerns, and collaborate with providers to plan care
• Educate families and caregivers on immunizations, procedures, and aftercare instructions
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support clinic flow by assisting with rooming, preparing patients, and ensuring supplies and vaccines are ready

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Colorado (required)
• BLS through the American Heart Association (required)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
• 5+ years of outpatient/ambulatory pediatric clinic experience (required)
• Proven experience with pediatric vaccine administration, phlebotomy/blood draws, and CLIA‑waived testing
• Comfortable working rotating Saturday mornings as needed and adapting to outpatient clinic pace
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children and families

• Phlebotomy skills and pediatric blood draw techniques
• CLIA‑waived point‑of‑care testing procedures and documentation
