Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day). Schedule may also be offered as M-F five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (4x10) with occasional Saturday coverage as needed for orthopedic surgery patients.

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered orthopedic physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate post-op care and optimize outcomes
• Document treatments, progress, and discharge plans accurately and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, safety-focused clinical environment

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado (active or eligible for state licensure)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient or post-operative care preferred
• Comfortable working day shifts with occasional Saturday coverage
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility credentialing requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred; or entry-level degree in Physical Therapy as accepted by state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong orthopedic assessment and differential diagnosis skills
• Hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques
• Proficient documentation and clinical reasoning
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Time management skills to manage caseloads and prioritize post-op patients
