Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, 12-hour shifts (exact days vary per unit schedule)

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based inpatient oncology nursing care to adults
- Safely administer and monitor IV chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments
- Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to patient changes and initiate BLS/ACLS interventions when necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatments, side effect management, and discharge plans
- Maintain infection control, chemo safety standards, and medication administration protocols
- Float to Med/Surg units as needed to support patient flow and staffing needs
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license (required)
- ONC/Chemo certification (required)
- Proven inpatient acute oncology experience with IV chemotherapy administration (required)
- Current BLS and ACLS recognition (required)
- EPIC charting experience (required)
- Prior traveler experience (preferred)
- Med/Surg experience (preferred)
- Night shift experience (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacology and chemotherapy safety practices
- Skilled in IV therapy, infusion pump management, and central line care
- Proficient with EPIC electronic charting and electronic medication administration
- Ability to perform rapid assessment and triage on a busy inpatient unit
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Familiarity with ACLS and BLS protocols and emergency response
