Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fluoroscopy and C-arm systems to support complex vascular and neurovascular procedures
• Assist physicians during EVARs, angioplasties, stent placements and other interventional cases
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile fields and ensure equipment readiness
• Perform PACS operation and image management to support timely clinical decision making
• Provide compassionate patient care and monitor patients during and after procedures
• Function as room circulator and prep access sites as needed for a smooth procedural flow
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing and anesthesia teams in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology
• EVAR (endovascular aneurysm repair) experience required
• BLS required; ACLS and ARRT(VI) preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred and ability to float across OSU units
• Comfort working in a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
• Ability to work scheduled 4x10 day shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and C-arm operation
• Angiography and vascular intervention techniques
• PACS operation and image management
• Experience with GE Innova IGS preferred
• Familiarity with procedures such as stents, angioplasty, thrombectomy and dialysis graft interventions
• Neurovascular procedures knowledge (carotid angiography, embolization)
• Abdominal/pelvic procedures (TIPS, liver biopsy, gastrostomy tube placement)
• Strong procedural setup, sterile technique and room circulation skills
• Ability to triage, prioritize and communicate effectively in high-acuity settings
• Comfort with float assignments across inpatient and outpatient OR settings
