Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour schedule, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; rotating overnight shifts covering weekdays with every-other-weekend coverage required (Night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and bedside monitors to keep a close eye on patients' rhythms and vitals
- Interpret dysrhythmias and initiate appropriate interventions in alignment with ACLS protocols
- Start IVs, manage IV therapy and care for peripheral lines with precision
- Provide progressive care to PCU patients with cardiac-related diagnoses such as chest pain and heart failure
- Respond effectively as a member of the rapid response and code teams when emergencies arise
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC so the whole care team stays informed
- Float between units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed, bringing a flexible team-player attitude
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary supports like Respiratory, PT, Pharmacy, and Radiology to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain isolation precautions and PPE best practices to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience; PCU/Telemetry experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Proven IV start skills and experience with IV therapy and peripheral line care
- Demonstrated experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- EPIC charting experience required
- Comfort with floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity and working nights
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required per facility guideline
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac monitoring expertise
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and dysrhythmia management
- IV therapy, phlebotomy and peripheral line care
- Respiratory management including nasal cannula, oxygen administration and non-invasive airway support
- Progressive care unit (PCU) workflow and patient needs
- Rapid Response/Code team procedures and emergency response
- Isolation precautions and PPE best practices
- Comfortable and accurate charting in EPIC
