Shift Type: Rotating nights (includes weekends), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (minimum every-other-weekend; open to Friday/Saturday/Sunday block scheduling)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize ventilator settings and care for ventilated patients using Hamilton C6 and PB 980 ventilators
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and act on results to support positive patient outcomes
- Provide BiPAP/CPAP, Vapotherm and Airvo management, and Bubble CPAP care as clinically indicated
- Deliver high-quality emergency and step-down respiratory care across ICU, PCU, MST and ED
- Execute home O2 qualifications, CPT vest therapy, and HiFlo management to support discharge planning and chronic care
- Accurately document assessments and interventions in Meditech Expanse to maintain continuity of care
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to improve patient experience using AIDET
- Support unit goals, participate in competency checkoffs, and contribute to a safe, evidence-based environment
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
- Current licensure as CRT or RRT in the practicing state (required)
- Active NBRC credential and membership (required)
- Minimum of 1 year clinical respiratory therapy experience (required)
- Current ACLS and BLS required; PALS and NRP required as listed
- Comfortable with ventilator management and non-invasive ventilation modalities
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or willingness to learn quickly
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and troubleshooting (Hamilton C6, PB 980 experience a plus)
- ABG interpretation and applied clinical decision-making
- Non-invasive ventilation: V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Airvo
- Bubble CPAP and pediatric/neonatal basics where applicable
- Home oxygen qualifications, CPT vest therapy, HiFlo management
- EKG basics for respiratory therapists and monitoring
- Electronic charting experience (Meditech Expanse)
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and patient-centered bedside manner (AIDET familiarity)
