Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality portable X-ray services to nursing homes and post-acute care facilities, producing clinically diagnostic images
- Operate and process images using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit to radiologists
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit for cardiology interpretation when requested
- Safely unload, transport, set up and maintain portable imaging equipment and vehicle
- Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, clients, and facility staff to ensure smooth patient care
- Document exams accurately and ensure timely image transmission for interpretation
- Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Valid North Carolina radiologic technologist license (Compact allowed) and adherence to state requirements
- Valid driver's license in good standing and comfort driving between facilities
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 or able to provide approved exemption documentation
- Experience with portable/mobile imaging preferred; experience in nursing homes or post-acute care a plus
- Strong patient communication and professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely push/pull and handle equipment (may involve lifting up to ~50 lbs frequently)

- Portable X-ray operation (DR and CR) and radiographic positioning
- EKG acquisition and transmission workflows
- Image processing, quality control, and digital transmission to radiologists/cardiologists
- Scanning, documentation, and billing paperwork procedures
- Equipment handling, basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
- Patient interaction best practices in post-acute and long-term care settings
- Time management and route-based scheduling
- Clear communication with dispatch, clinical staff, and supervisory teams
