Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients — deliver life-saving interventions with confidence
- Manage ventilators, advanced airway support, and hemodynamic monitoring in critical care settings
- Perform patient assessments, arterial blood gas analysis, and implement evidence-based respiratory plans
- Train, mentor, and support RT personnel to maintain high standards of care and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and complete required pre-start compliance paperwork in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience in critical care (required)
- Oklahoma state respiratory license (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to mentor and train staff
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ventilator management and advanced airway techniques
- Knowledge of critical care protocols for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and make timely treatment decisions
- Familiarity with infection control, documentation standards, and clinical compliance processes
- Patient-focused assessment skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort teaching and providing constructive feedback to RT staff
