Shift Type: Rotating nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (overnight), rotating schedule that includes weekends and on-call; 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms to identify changes and act promptly
- Continuously monitor a high volume of patients (large central monitoring unit) and prioritize alerts
- Build end-of-shift reports and maintain accurate documentation within the GE Carescape system
- Add and discharge patients in GE Carescape and keep an organized running call log
- Communicate clearly and professionally with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone app
- Multitask effectively while maintaining composure during high-stress situations
- Contribute to a positive, organized, detail-oriented unit culture that supports patient safety
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in remote monitoring or related telemetry roles
- Telemetry competency with the ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
- Comfortable analyzing and interpreting heart rhythms quickly and accurately
- Proficient typing and basic computer skills (documentation and reporting required)
- Able to use an iPhone application for clinical communication
- Excellent attendance, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under stress
- Strong English reading and writing skills
- Required certifications: None
- Preferred: CNA background, cardiac nursing experience, ECG board certification, previous GE monitoring experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and ECG/cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with GE Carescape monitoring system
- High-volume patient monitoring and alert prioritization
- Clear desktop phone and mobile (iPhone app) communication skills
- Ability to build end-of-shift reports and maintain logs
- Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology (preferred)
