Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the EP/IR procedural area and sterile fields to support safe, efficient cases
• Operate and troubleshoot EP and interventional radiology equipment under physician direction
• Assist physicians and the interdisciplinary team during EP and IR procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Document procedures and patient care accurately and promptly in Epic
• Float between like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs while maintaining scope of practice
• Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Required: Demonstrated Interventional Radiology (IR) experience — MUST have IR experience
• EP lab experience preferred and listed as a primary skill for this role
• Active, valid clinical license — pending licenses are not accepted
• Comfortable charting in Epic as the primary electronic health record
• Willingness to float within scope to similar units as needed
• Open to first-time travel clinicians; travel experience is not required
• Note: Locals within a 50-mile radius of the main campus are not eligible for this assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with EP lab and interventional radiology workflows and equipment
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and manage procedural instrumentation
• Proficient patient monitoring and basic life support awareness
• Accurate and timely Epic documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
• Adaptability to block and procedural schedule changes and department needs
