Shift Type: Saturday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight doubles) and Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (single); Night/overnight. Every Saturday, no Sundays.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Provide compassionate bedside care that supports dignity and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Perform routine vital signs and basic clinical observations accurately
- Document care and observations clearly and timely in the patient record
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and colleagues
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state of Rhode Island) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with overnight and evening shift work
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
- Charting and documentation best practices
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
- Time management and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
